Bright and Vivid

Sometimes color makes me so happy. Especially when the world outside seems so white and plain and blah!

Grainy but beautiful

My new camera has some tremendous ISO capabilities and today I realized just how amazing that can be.

These were taken while it was totally dark outside with only 1 small light over the garage shining. I am at ISO 6400 -- it is truly amazing to me. I am not using a flash. This is natural light in the dark (doesn't that sound funny?)

New Year, New Goals

I did not quite make it 52 weeks last year, but I felt like I learned so much in the process. But with a new year I have new goals -- I am publishing a picture a day on my thinking blog and here I am going to continue to showcase new things I have tried. I got a new camera (that I love) and I am trying new things. Here are some of my new sweet baby and his sister helping him.
