Week 7 -- Wild Card

I have been reading a lot about street photography and really admiring some of the photos I have seen so I did my best to try and take some street photography while at Disney world. It is harder to do than it looks --

Week 5 - Simplicity

I am always so anxious for spring. Here is my first peek at the forsythia flowers. They are about to burst! It's the simple things that make me the happiest!

Week 4 - IMPERFECTION

Why? Why in the week where the theme is imperfection do I get the chance to photograph the MOST perfect sweet little newborn out there? But then when I started to think about it . . . I realized that in newborns we are able to overlook all the imperfections (the bad sleeping habits, the feeding struggles, the blowouts, the spit up, and more) and only see the perfection. I think I need to adopt that same attitude with all the people I come in contact with-- friends, kids, husbands -- that we need to overlook all their imperfections and learn to see all that is perfect about them.

Week 3 -- Inspiration

I will admit having a hard time coming up with a photo this week. For some reason, I just didn't feel all the inspired. And then I was surprised at how inspired I was seeing a friend's photo on facebook. She and her family have relocated to Egypt (from next door to me) and they just went on a safari and this photo she took I thought was stunning. And so I was inspired to edit this photo!

Week 2- Life

I have picked up so many legos that it feels like they are taking over my life.  Here is what my basement looks like ALL the time.

Week 1 - Resolution

I am attempting (yet again) a 52 week photography project!!!!

This year I will be doing my FIRST marathon. I am scared, nervous, anxious, excited -- but most of all RESOLVED -- I will do this. I will.
